New users should visit the registration page to get started with TaxACT.
Enter your information to start your 2014 Free Federal Return.

- To get started, first open your browser and go to www.taxact.com.
- Click the “Sign in” button at the top right corner. This will open the TaxACT login page.
- Now enter your Username and your Password in the fields and click the green “Sign in” button.
- You should now have access to your account.
Can’t sign in? – Reset your password
Forgot your password? Try resetting your password to solve the problem. You can set up a new password by opening the login page and clicking the Forgot Password? link.
Follow on-screen instructions to set up a new password.
