Speed up your iPhone or iPad on 3 steps

It may happen that your iPhone or iPad slows down over time. We show you in three steps how to free up the memory of your device manually, so it becomes a bit faster.

iPhone manually freeing memory

IPhone and iPad normally regulate automatically the use of the memory, but if they are slow or falter, it may be useful to empty manually. You can do this by restarting your device, but it takes a few minutes. Do you have no time to lose, follow the steps below to quickly free memory of your device with the same result.

  1. Unlock your iPhone or iPad;
  2. Press and hold the on/off button. The “Turn off” message will appear;
  3. Press the home button for a few seconds. “Turn off” message screen disappears after a few seconds and you return to the home screen.

By performing these operations manually, you free up the memory, which could solve any possible problems. Keep in mind that all running apps in the multitasking screen remain, but must be reloaded. The above steps also work if you suffer from a slow iPod touch.
