Pinterest gives you the option to use your Facebook account to create an account. Simply click on the Facebook button on the front page or on the login page to sign in using your Facebook profile.
Recover your Pinterest password
After getting an account on Pinterest, most of the people direct their browsers to remember their username and password so that they do not always have to enter them. Once they start to use their accounts without always entering username and password, their mind will no longer keep the information and thus, results in a situation where account holders only have their username and they cannot log in to their Pinterest account anymore. History of Pinterest
The development of Pinterest began in December 2009 and it was launched in beta in March 2010. Initially you could visit the website only if you had an invitation but later registration via email is also possible. In August 2012 it became possible to register for free without getting an e-mail invitation.
The site was included in the column “The 50 Best Websites of 2011” by the TIME magazine. The web magazine TechCrunch called in January 2012 the website as the best starting site of 2011. The site attracted more than 10 million users in 9 months and was the fastest growing website ever.
Mood Boards
Pinterest users can create their own mood boards. In this mood boards they can place images from across the web that are placed through the Pin it button. Each pin (pin) gives a picture, video or article again. These pins are grouped by the mood boards that the user may wish to create and organize.
The social aspect of the site is that it basically mood boards are public and therefore can be followed by other users. There is also the possibility that other users perform a repin. This they place the articles they find on other users on their own mood board.
