The popular streaming app Periscope has been updated to ensure that streams are no longer limited to the portrait mode. It can now also record and view it in landscape mode.
Periscope Updated: watching in landscape mode
With the latest update to Periscope, it is possible to watch the stream in full screen. This landscape mode was in the previous version already available, only the image did not rotate automatically with the screen.
Periscope update
Another novelty of the Periscope app is the addition of a line of additional information in your livestream feed about who shares a video with you. Because of this, you no longer have to wonder who and why a stream is shared with you. Finally, the iOS version gets two additional features: improved accessibility for people with less visibility and the ability to share the stream only with your friends. Whether these features are also made available for Android is not yet known.
