On May 18, 2014, AT & T announced its intention to acquire DirecTV for $ 48.5 billion. On 19 December 2014, Disney and DirecTV announced to continue their negotiations on the ten-year broadcast contract expired on Sept. 30 while Fox and DirecTV reached an agreement. On 23 December 2014, Disney and DirecTV reached agreement adding video-on-demand Watch ABC – Watch Disney – WatchESPN and the final chains of Disney group like Fusion, Longhorn Network or SEC Network.
