Daemon Sync is a new Android and iPhone app that lets you synchronize files between your Android device and PC. The app is easy to use and works remarkably well.
Daemon Sync – How it works
Daemon Tools is derived from the makers of Daemon Tools, the well-known computer program that emulates virtual CD or DVD players through the use of images. However, Daemon Sync is doing something else, because the app lets you exchange files between your PC and Android or iOS device. This is possible with devices that are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, even though an internet connection is not required to use the app.
Setting Daemon Sync is quite simple. When you have the app on your phone, you must download a program through this link to install the server. The app uses a PIN to connect the two devices together, so there is no need to create an account and password.
The app then syncs photos, videos, and screenshots to the server on your PC. Conveniently, they are kept in separate folders, so you can find them easily again. Furthermore, you can specify in the application what exactly needs to be synchronized and there are several options available. For example, you can choose how often files are shared and whether this should happen automatically. The app also sends notifications when data has been successfully uploaded.
